THE STORY

Established officially in 2008 by current Owner and President Pablo Lastorta, ARGCA Imports comes on the scene as the new “wine ambassador” for Argentina's evolving wine culture. From his many adventurous travels during his youth and Soccer career, Argentina has been a second home to Pablo. With his roots heavily embedded in Argentine culture, he is a first generation Argentine-American raised in sunny Southern California . Hence the acronym of his new company ARGCA (Argentina-California) Imports.

Life has a funny way of leading you through unconventional roads to ultimately reach the paths of your fate and destiny. After meeting his wife in the weirdest of coincidental circumstances during his college years here in Los Angeles, Pablo didn’t know it at that time, but he was on the path of discovering his entrepreneur destiny.

Through countless ideas of building a start-up company with links to both Argentina and the U.S., his entrepreneur spirit was searching, craving for that niche that he believed was on the verge of exploding. Being that his wife was born and raised in Mendoza, Argentina, a trip in 2005 to his in-laws would change his life and give birth to an idea that was longing to come out of him.

Having been around Argentine food and wine all his life, he saw an opportunity to flourish his passionate culture here in the United States through importing boutique style premium wines from Argentina that are family owned, have a unique style of winemaking philosophy, and truly represents their terroir and evolving wine culture.

ARGCA Imports is now a U.S. Importer and California Wholesaler of Wine. Licensed by both Federal and State regulatory agencies.

Our vision is to become a “wine ambassador” for

Argentina's wine industry in the U.S. We want to be recognized as a leading source for importing and marketing new wines from

Argentina. With the excellent quality in our brand selections, we will be referred to as the true representative and purveyor of unique Argentine wines of excellent quality here in the U.S.

THE MISSIONS

Our "personal" mission is to interactively expose, educate and introduce new Argentine wines to the American wine consumer.

Our "business" mission is to provide our clients the opportunity to maximize profitability and improve the quality in their wine lists through our selections of unique Argentine wines. ARGCA Imports will develop an innovative, honest and ethical approach to international business with its clients through the importation and distribution of wines from

As a new importer of wines from Argentina, we are exploring new frontiers and paving the way to promote the excellent quality produced from Argentina's viticulture regions.
